IKEA Hacks #1

Bedroom Edition

Who has read my old contributions, knows that I like to do something myself or try out a hack. Since many links in my old IKEA hack posts were no longer up to date and I start from scratch anyway, I divide the hacks into rooms this time. Also in my apartment there are already some hacks and in September/October there will hopefully be an apartment tour. Until then a lot has to be done. Especially small rooms profit from hacks. Storage space under the bed or a space-saving make-up table help to make the most of the space without having to give up a lot. But there are also hacks with which you can bounce up a chest of drawers. Another point to try out a hack can also be money. Many things can be done cheaper with a little manual skill.

You can find even more hacks for bedrooms on And matching Kallax & Co. there are extensions like legs or fans on

In this video you can see how you can build a bed with storage space. my bedroom would be a little bigger I would have done something similar. Unfortunately it doesn’t fit with my 8qm room with wardrobe in the back and front.

But where do you find the Hacks now? To make it easy I link a Pinterst Board here. So I can add hacks later and all this here stays up to date.

So have fun hacking!
